Top Book July 12, 2010 Dave 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Top book - I've read alot of self help books, some good, some not so. What i really like about this is that it is so simple, there is no la la speak, no waffle about paradigms etc. This is a simple guide to help you look at things a different way, take control of your emotions and get better outcomes. Like all this stuff you only get out what you put in, no one can do it for you, but if you go in with an open mind and try some of Michael's ideas it's excellent. Go on give it a go, I'm sure you'll be pleased you did!

Flip It is different. It's simple, down-to-earth, fun and far more motivating than most of its competition.
Rather than just listing adjectives, let me tell you about the differences it has made to my life. I've found that I'm more confident, energised and happy than I have been in a long time. I'm a natural introvert, but I've found that socialising has become easier and more pleasurable. On top of that, I feel more optimistic about the future than I can ever remember.
All of this in just 2 weeks.
Not all of the advice will suit everybody, but I recommend that you treat Flip It like a toolbox from which you choose the tools that work for you. Not all of the advice is totally original, and some of it may initially seem like nothing more than common sense. But the point is that when you put it into action, Flip It simply works! I've been keeping a blog since day 1 and reading it through today confirms the book's effectiveness.
Mercifully, the book is almost entirely devoid of spiritual or religious claptrap. Can you tell I'm a Richard Dawkins fan?! However, I'm sceptical about Michael's suggestion of asking a swinging chain a series of Yes/No questions in order to find lost possessions. I feel like I'm excessively nitpicking with that criticism. After all, there's just this one bit of advice that wasn't my cup of tea out of the dozens of brilliantly sparkling gems on offer.
I have the audio book version of Flip It, read by the author Michael Heppell himself. His enthusiasm and humour are infectious. I'd say it's definitely worth spending the few pence more for the audio book version. I have it on my phone so I can listen to it on the commute to work. Check compatibility with your devices before buying.
All I can say is try Flip It for yourself and hopefully your experience of it will be as positive as mine.
Flip It June 8, 2010 Mrs. J. R. M. Collin (Uk) An interesting book. I liked the way of turning things around to make life more positive. Easy to read and understand, and a website full of interesting articles. Well worth reading.

This is an awesome book, its really helped me to take a different approach to so many siutations which used to baffle me. I have read so many self help books and so many have been pretty unisnpiring, this on the other hand is fantasitc. It is the most simple formula. Read it and Flip It, only good will come of it.
Flippin' Easy April 27, 2010 Margaret Rooke (Huddersfield, West Yorkshire) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My husband bought this book for me originally, because I have trouble making decisions. He used the coin-flip technique on me after hearing about it on the Chris Evans show. Amazingly, I got the decision I really wanted, and I realised that your mind already knows what you want and all you have to do, is listen. This book shows you how to tap into the knowledge you already hold on many subjects, and Michael shows you how to easily bring up that knowledge and put it all into effect without being clouded by emotion. And he shows you how to work out the bits you don't already know.
With that success in the bag, I am now flipping-it for all the other areas the book covers. I've read self help books before, but Michael makes them easy to achieve - unlike some other authors. And there's more to be found on his website.
I find myself recommending this book to other people, including close family, Flip it: How to Get the Best Out of Everything because I think it's brilliant.
