This is one of the funniest loveliest and most caring books I have ever read, and I am a 78 year old granny! I bought it for my daughter for Mothers Day, and she and her 14 year old daughter read it in bed that morning. They phoned me as they couldn't resist repeating some of the articles in the book, and we all rocked with laughter.
I would recommend it to all the mums in the world. I wish it had been twice as long, as it was over too quickly.

Great Read with loads of useful and amusing tips. I bought it for my mum for mother's day, she loved it and the title made it even better escpecially as I had bought the girls version which was how to be best at everything.

Such a good gift for Mums young and old, it really would suit anyone. My mum loved the recipes and even found the stories about mums hilarious, perfect when you're not sure what to buy for their birthday or Mother's Day.

The perfect gift to give your mum on Mother's Day or just any day of the year to remind her she's the best! Full of bits and pieces that all mums should know, or will want to know and it looks great on the bookshelf with it's lovely retro packaging. I also bought The Dads' Book which is in the same series for my dad and they look great together- I just wonder if the publishers will bring out a Daughters' Book to make our shelf complete! A great buy at a great price.

I was struggling to think of a suitable present for Mother's Day, that was slightly more imaginative than the usual flowers and chocolates. This delightful book came to the rescue and proved to be a big success in my house. My mum particularly enjoyed the chapter " To hell with housework"! Highly recommended!
