This latest version of the Series 3 seems to be better than earlier models. I find that it does a good job on the whole. I bought 2 units and find that the battery life of one seems to be shorter than that of the other between recharges. The miniscule brush is annoying and not easy to handle - I have kept my old ones from earlier models. Cleaning is more complex as only hot water (and detergent) can be used on the foil assembly, which makes it more fiddly and not so easy when one is away from home. The zipped case seems to be fine, but I think that I prefer the older hinged plastic case from my previous Series 3.

I bought the Series 3 370 after a LOT of research and it has proven to be a great buy. I was not sure whether or not to go with one of the more expensive series 5 or 7 models but was put off by the prospect of expensive cleaning fluids and replacement parts. Also, this shaver was noted for being good for people with sensitive skin - another deciding factor for me.
My last shaver - a Remington 5700 was a disaster. The small foil kept getting holes in and I had to buy the complete foil and cutter pack to replace it. Eventually, after just 18 months, it failed to charge. Rubbish. And it sounded like a lawnmover!!! My wife hated it ;-)
I was a little disconcerted when I read in some reviews that the Braun Series 3 was loud...WRONG!! Louder than a wet-shave maybe :-) But believe me, compared to my Remington (and my last Braun come to that - a basic model) this one is whisper quiet.
The series 3 looks good and feels good in the hand. I love the floating head system and the fact that you can lock one foil out of the way (with the flick of a switch) to let you get at those difficult areas. The push up trimmer works very well and to date the shaver has not bothered my skin - total bliss after the week or more of wet-shaving I had to endure while choosing my next model and awaiting delivery.
10/10 from me.

A good looking well designed cordless razor - and all that I expected from Braun-
my only complaint is I have to charge the battery nearly every day-it just seems
to lack the usual power I would have expectedfom Braun-otherwise I am well pleased
withn my purchase.

Recently I purchased the new Braun Series 3-370 shaver for my husband, he always uses a Braun electric shaver because they are so good. Well, he just loves this new one, the shave is very close, the shape of the razor is perfect and it just washes clean.Oh, and yes, it recharges very quickly. What more could any man want from his shaver?. I rate this as a real good buy!
