Using an electric toothbrush for the first time, I found it a good experience and very convenient to use. The motor is a little noisier than I had expected. It lasts well between charges.

Bought an electric toothbrush on advice from my dentist. It claims to 'whiten' your teeth in 21 days, presumably if you have only used an ordinary toothbrush prior to an electric one & it certainly makes them look a bit brighter. 'Whiter' might be poetic licence. The thing no one had ever mentioned about these toothbrushes is that they will cause you to produce masses of saliva in your mouth, you could almost drown! Once you get used to that & the feeling that you aren't 'brushing' your teeth like you did before then it's fine. This particular model comes with two separately coloured heads so two people can use it & is very simple to operate & to recharge. Would I buy another one when this eventually packs up? Yes I think I would.

Having attempted on two different occasions to purchase a rather more sophisticated, all singing, all dancing version of the Braun Oral B brush and having to return both of them as they would not charge we opted for the basic model. Simply to say that it does the business. Once charged up it is simple and easy to use. After using standard tooth brushes for years we find that this electric brush does a so much more efficient job and teeth feel so much more thoroughly cleaned. I can recommend the Braun-Oral 500 as an easy to use, effective addition to the bathroom.

I bought this to replace my old Oral-B electric toothbrush which had finally given up the ghost and have been more than pleased with it. I've had it for about 3 months now and have had no problems with it at all. Really good value for the price.

This is a great toothbrush. My dental hygenist recommended this particular one which is why I bought it. It leaves my teeth feeling really smooth and clean. My dentist even commented on how good my teeth were looking, when I went for my recent checkup. I normally just use a normal toothbrush but this has definately made a big difference and I would have no hesitation recommending it to anyone.
