Maybe it's just me being a bit weird (I sometimes take tweezers to my legs if I'm bored), but I actually quite like the feeling of epliating. Granted this is the first time I've tried it, and I've heard horror stories about older units, but I really like this one. I get itchy legs so for me the feeling of epilating is just like having a good old scratch. I'd probably do it every day if the hair would grow back that quickly.
I would recommend the Braun Silk-épil to anyone who wants to try epilating for the first time, maybe you will enjoy it as much as me =]

I have waxed for years, but found that i was not getting the result i wanted, (depending on which therapist i saw at the salon!) and it was also becoming expensive. I looked at a lot of products before buying this one, and read the reviews first. I have used it a few times now, and find that using it dry is far more effective than wet, it is more painful dry, but is no more painful than waxing, and you soon get used to it.I would definitely recomend this product, my husband said that my legs now feel smoother than they did when I had them waxed! I don't write reviews often, but think this product is worthy of one.

I have never used an epilator before, but I love my new Braun Xpressive Epilator.
I had been thinking of buying one for some time and finally took the plunge. When I first switched the epilator on I did have second thougths when all the little 'tweezers' starting spinning. But, I rubbed my legs with the wipes (a complimentary packet was included in the box) waited 30 seconds, and put the epilator against my leg. I could certainly feel it, but it was more of a 'tingly' feeling and nowhere near as bad as I imagined it would be. There is a light on the epilator that really shows up the hairs you may have missed.
I am really pleased with the product. It is incredibly easy to use. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

its fast, a good epilator however i think its a bit of an over exaggeration with the whole "removes even hair as small as a grain of sand", tried it for the first time and it has not removed a single hair from the roots even after exflioting it, but compared to the epilators i've had in the past it is the best. if your someone who is looking for something that takes the hair out of the roots then i would not recommand this item, if you dont mind then go for it.

When I got sick of the waiting in between waxes, I decided to try an epilator. I figured it was probably an idea to go for the best one, and that the wet/dry capability was the most useful feature. I am more than aware of what a wimp I am, and it was going to pinch a little.
I was pleasantly surprised. The "grain of sand" claim is a little out there, but the epilation is great. The best feature turned out to be the light, believe it or not! It really helps. It works great in the shower, and the detatchable heads really do make have different . Also, don't hold it too tightly when you're using it! All in all, I really recommend it. It only loses a point because it doesn't work while it's plugged in.
