Stones.
Hot stone massage is a variation of classic massage, in which heated
stones are placed on key areas of the body.
These special stones have the ability to absorb and retain heat, which
can have a positive influence on physical and mental wellbeing.
To use, simply place the stones in a pan of hot water for a few minutes.
Remove using tongs or a spoon and leave to cool. When the stones are at
the desired temperature, place them on your backbone, shoulders, neck,
feet or arms.
Stones may be used with massage oil and may be slid around the body for
optimal relaxation.
